Pay It Forward

My wonderful sister Anna replied to a blog for knitters/crafters. She knit me this beautiful laced book mark! I can't even imagine how small the needles must have been! Thank you so much Anna!

So here is the challenge---

So, the first three people who leave me a comment/email will receive a hand knitted item from me. In return, you must place the same challenge on your blog, and so it goes. What a great way to spread homemade love and blessings. I don't think I have many knitters who check my blog, so I will open it up to any homemade/handmade craft item.If you are not a blogger and would prefer to reply to me via email feel free...and then you could continue this challenge on your email, babysite, blog, facebook...

Alla, Papa and Meep Papa Visit

My parents and my grandpa drove over from Tucson a couple of weeks ago! We had a wonderful time and Adelee, Gordie and i were all so happy to see them! (what a great treat to have my grandpa here too)

We celebrated my Grandpa and Dad's birthdays and watched MSU lose terribly! I love the sequence of pictures of my Dad trying to enjoy Adelee while being a bit distracted by the 20 point spread...just 5 minutes into the game!

Adelee loved watching her "Go State" games...and learned a lot from them...she has a natural shot and is working on dribbling!

Easter

CHUCK IS BACK! And we had a wonderful Easter! We had the family over for dinner and we all enjoyed our backyard! (I knitted Adelee's new owl)

The Zoo (a few more)

We went to the "Spring Fling" at the LA Zoo! It was wonderful! The kids got to make their own bunny ears, pet bunnies (adelee was actually a bit scared), we planted out own carrots, danced to live bunny music, we got to see the Easter bunny (Adelee chose not to go sit on his lap...which was fine cause it would have cost us $8), and got their faces painted like bunnies...PLUS we got to see all the animals at the zoo!

Plus...Gordie coloring

A wonderful time at a party!

We went to a friend's first birthday party today and I had never seen so many kids in one place! Adelee and Gordie had a blast! They were not shy at all and loved playing with all the toys and the kids! Adelee was having conversations with other little 2 year old boys...the cutest thing. The girls were asked to wear dresses and the boys ties...so when Adelee and two other boys were standing around the "watering hole" it was like they were gathering in the break room at work to discuss...well in this case whether they were drinking "bips juice" or "grape juice" and how "burrrr" the ice was. Here is a video and a few photos of our adorable kids being...well...adorable!

Happy Easter

(more to come)
