Sherman Oaks Street Fair

We had a wonderful springtime day in Sherman Oaks today! It was the SO Street Fair where we watched little kids ride ponies and rides and we got to play in a petting farm! Adelee loved it! Big smiles the whole time! Petting the baby goats and playing in the woodchips (which were actually pretty clean) were her favorites!

You might be able to see my 28 week pregnant belly and my hormone driven haircut (I lost a lot of hair that day!) in a couple of the shots!

Our friend Olivia's First Birthday Party

We had a wonderful, but HOT (close to 100!) weekend! We broke out the swim diapers, bathing suits and sunscreen and played with our wonderful friends. Saturday was Adelee's friend Olivia's first birthday party, where we all had a blast! Sunday we hung out with our good friends the Fosters (they live "over the hill" where it is a bit cooler...90 instead of 100) and went swimming in their pool. It is going to cool down this week, thank goodness, 'cause pregnant me wouldn't be able to hand 3 more months of this heat with my ever growing belly!

For a pregnancy update...I'll have to post a modest belly shot of me soon, but I am feeling great! I still have a good amount of energy. The baby is moving a lot now, mostly during the night! We can't wait to meet him!

Happy Easter and Happy Spring!

We had a wonderful and beautiful weekend with Adelee's Nana and Papa and Great Grandpa in Tucson, Az. We drove from LA to Tucson on Friday night (9 hours) and home on Monday. We had a blast swimming, playing, spending quality time with grandparents and special time with Great Grandpa! Chuck's brother Russ and his girlfriend joined us on Easter. Thanks for a wonderful weekend everyone!

This morning we went to the park and had fun on the swings and slides!

New Walking Toy

Adelee took right to this toy, we were worried about her using it on the hardwood floors, but it didn't take long before she had the whole thing figured out (ok not steering). She loves it!
